The great Palestinian writer and analyst Dr. Azmi Bishara, who has supported the Syrian revolution for freedom and dignity since the start, tells it like it is, as always. 1. The explosive barrel bombs used by the Assad regime against densely-populated cities, towns and villages, destroying countless homes with their occupants inside them, are symbolic of both the primitive savagery of the regime and the hypocrisy of the &#039;Friends of Syria.&#039; All this is well known. What I would like to draw attention to is the way in which, despite the brutal regime&#039;s murderous and devastating attacks on liberated areas, its forces have still failed to make serious progress. The Assad regime, fully aware that it is unable to attain victory, now simply wishes to kill the Syrian people and destroy the nation. 2. There is no doubt that the establishment of the Islamic Front and other affiliated resistance groups fighting around Damascus, as well as other groups such as the ISIS and other groups which should not be ignored, have changed the balance on the ground against the regime. The interim government&#039;s defence ministry should be working in this period to establish the nucleus of a national army which will prevent the situation from deteriorating into a clash of revolutionary forces. It is unthinkable that the rebel forces should be fighting with one another rather than formulating a collective strategy based on toppling the regime. 3. The revolutionary fighters on the ground have proven beyond a shadow of a doubt that they are in a position in which the regime, despite its regional and international alliances, is unable to defeat them, despite the fragility of the rebels&#039; organisation and alliances. Can anyone imagine how much more the rebel fighters could achieve if they were to coordinate more closely and work together? 4. There are already moves underway by the regime to alter the demographic form of Syria through massive displacement, genocide and ethnic cleansing; this cannot be denied or ignored, with the objective being to change the nation by means of what can only be described as a true holocaust. 5. It is undeniably clear that the Israeli lobby constitutes one of the main defenders of the regime in Western decision-making circles. 6. After such horrendous and unprecedented suffering and after the people of Syria, both in the nation and in exile, have been subjected to an earthly hell, after the ever-rising number of the regime&#039;s victims estimated in the hundreds of thousands ( whilst I would obviously rather hope this is not the case, I believe that the numbers of 200,000 or even 300,000 are far lower than the true numbers, as time will prove), the people of Syria will not accept anything less than the total removal of Assad and his band of criminals, murderers and thugs. 7. All the peoples of the earth can receive lessons in resisting injustice from Syria&#039;s great people who have been and are exposed to a monstrous injustice. The lowly and contemptible wretches who defend Assad&#039;s genocidal regime are the same as (and the heirs of) those who defended Hitler and Stalin before now and also denied their crimes against humanity. The only difference is that Assad&#039;s crimes against humanity are taking place in full daylight and in full sight of the world, and do not require the regime&#039;s and Assad&#039;s prior downfall before the horrific magnitude of these crimes can be discovered. Seit ich denken kann, habe ich immer bei einer Heiratsanfrage abgelehnt, bei meinem Mann sagte ich mit voller Zuversicht und ohne Bedenken JA - es war maktub Rabbi !!       Zuerst war meine Absicht, nach Algerien auszuwandern und mit meinem Mann dort zu leben (er hat dort ein kleines Architekturbüro, das gut lief). Als es dann doch nicht geklappt hatte, schlug ich ihm vor nach Deutschland zu kommen und es hier mal auszuprobieren.   Zurück nach Algerien können wir immer - er stimmte zu und kam im Rahmen der Familienzusammenführung im April 2013 zu uns.       Zu uns - das ist das Zuhause meiner Eltern, eine 4-Zimmerwohnung. In der Zeit war ich arbeitslos (von Januar 2013 bis Mai 2013) und lebte logischerweise bei meinen Eltern.   Bevor mein Mann zu uns kam, habe ich explizit meine Eltern um Erlaubnis gefragt, ob sie denn etwas dagegen hätten, wenn er käme und wir gemeinsam erst bei ihnen einziehen und dann - wenn Allah will - uns etwas Eigenes suchen.   Die Antwort meiner Eltern war: "Ja natürlich das geht ok, ihr könnt solange bleiben bis ihr beruflich Fuß gefasst habt und ihr euch eine eigene Wohnung leisten könnt."       Seit dem Sommer 2013 arbeite ich wieder fest als Ingenieurin, mein Mann seit 3 Monaten als Architekt - alhamdullilah ya Rabbi !!       Meine Idee war sogar ein großes Haus zu mieten, falls ich wieder Arbeit finden sollte und der Mietpreis eines Hauses in einem passablen Rahmen bleibt - aber das war nur eine Idee.   Das Problem, das ich jetzt habe, diese Idee ist zur Wahnsinnsidee meiner Mutter geworden.   Sie will, dass ich ihr unbedingt dieses Haus besorge- koste es was es wolle, und wenn es mit einem Kredit geschehen soll. Ich soll gefälligst mein Wort halten und ihr dieses Haus beschaffen.   Mittlerweile beschimpft meine Mutter meinen Mann fast täglich, bringt dessen Familie ins Spiel und erniedrigt ihn vor meinen Augen und vor den Augen meines Vaters mit verletztenden Worte.   Natürlich habe ich versucht, zu schlichten; aber keine Chance. Sie beschimpte mich, drehte meine Worte im Mund um und hetzte meinen Vater auf mich, zu dem ich immer ein sehr gutes Verhältnis hatte. Aber leider ist das Vergangenheit - mein Vater war immer korrekt und anständig und bekannt für seinen Gerechtigkeitssinn.       Der einzige, der mich jetzt noch versteht, ist mein Bruder. Aber auf ihn wollen meine Eltern nicht hören und sie erzählen ihm sogar eine ganz andere Version, damit er schlecht von mir und von meinem Mann denkt.       Das Ende vom Lied: mein Mann und ich wollen ausziehen, aber das erlaubt meine Mutter nicht. Sie beschimpft mich täglich als "Schlampe", droht mich zu verfluchen bis zu ihrem Tod, dass sie mir nie verzeihen wird und das alles der "Plan" meines Mannes wäre.       Ich wollte zu einem Imam gehen - aber ich will meine Eltern nicht bloßstellen. Ich weiß, dass ich nichts haram gemacht und dass ich viel Geduld habe. Oooooh the humanity… As I'm sure you've heard Phil Robertson, the star of A&E show Duck Dynasty, made the following comments during a recent interview with GQ Magazine: "We're Bible-thumpers who just happened to end up on television. You put in your article that the Robertson family really believes strongly that if the human race loved each other and they loved God, we would just be better off. We ought to just be repentant, turn to God, and let's get on with it, and everything will turn around." He continues, "Everything is blurred on what's right and what's wrong. Sin becomes fine." The interviewer asked him what he considered 'sinful.' Hang onto your hats here…it gets REALLY controversial. "Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there. Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men. Don't be deceived. Neither the adulterers, the idolaters, the male prostitutes, the homosexual offenders, the greedy, the drunkards, the slanderers, the swindlers—they won't inherit the kingdom of God. Don't deceive yourself. It's not right." He sums up his thoughts: "We never, ever judge someone on who's going to heaven, hell. That's the Almighty's job. We just love 'em, give 'em the good news about Jesus—whether they're homosexuals, drunks, terrorists. We let God sort 'em out later, you see what I'm saying?" Arrrrrgggghh! The nerve! Hate speech, hate speech! How mean and full of slander! Stop the presses! GLAAD is upset! Heaven help us! Who is GLAAD, you ask? They are the Gay & Lesbian Alliance Against Defamation and they are really, really just SO upset! *sigh* Excuse me, can you pass me a tissue? Thank you. *sniff* When are people just going to accept and love us for who we are? Oh, I'm not talking about gays. I'm talking about loving and accepting Christians, the MOST maligned group of people on the planet! Check it out. Here is what Wilson Cruz, Spokesman for this rabidly anti-Christian group, spewed about the benign statement by Mr. Robertson: "Phil and his family claim to be Christian, but Phil's lies about an entire community fly in the face of what true Christians believe. He clearly knows nothing about gay people of the majority of Louisianans—and Americans—who support legal recognition for loving and committed gay and lesbian couples. Phil's decision to push vile and extreme stereotypes is a stain on A&E and his sponsors who now need to re-examine their ties to someone with such public disdain for LGBT people and families." Let's all take a deep breath and look at these statements logically. GLAAD is against defamation. I'll assume they're referring to the defamation of homosexuals. What is the definition of 'defamation?' Webster's says to defame is to give a "false and malicious statement injurious to another's reputation." Hmm. Well, what does 'malicious' mean? Again, Webster's defines this as the "desire to harm others; ill will. Intent to commit an unlawful act or injure another without just cause or reason." OK. Let's see if there is anything in Mr. Robertson's statement that could be considered defamatory or malicious. He said he and his family believe, "if the human race loved each other and they loved God, we would just be better off. We ought to just be repentant, turn to God, and let's get on with it, and everything will turn around." Is there ANYTHING in that statement that could be construed to be defamatory against LGBT people? No. He didn't even mention LGBTs! Let's continue. He goes on to state that, "everything is blurred on what's right and what's wrong. Sin becomes fine." Hmm. Anything malicious in that statement? Nope. Then, GQ magazine BAITS Mr. Robertson by asking him what he considers 'sinful.' He answers honestly, and ends up paraphrasing Corinthians. "Start with homosexual behavior and just morph out from there. Bestiality, sleeping around with this woman and that woman and that woman and those men. Don't be deceived. Don't deceive yourself. It's not right." Ah, THIS must be what GLAAD is foaming at the mouth about. Well, what of it? Mr. Robertson answered the question by stating what the Word of God says is sinful behavior. BEHAVIOR. You know…how people act. What they DO. Funny thing is, Mr. Robertson isn't stating his own self determined rules of morality. He's reporting what GOD's rules are. And THAT'S the problem, isn't it, GLAAD? That's the whole issue. What your hissy fit, temper tantrum boils down to is, you don't want to be reminded that your sodomite activities are a perversion of natural law. You carry within your heart the infantile attitude of "Don't tell me what to do! I'll do what I want!" It's a sinful arrogance against your Creator called REBELLION, and it's the oldest sin on the books; a desire to be your own god. Satan wanted the same thing. He got caught up in his own pride, desire for independence from God's rule, and wanted to be worshipped for the supposedly superior creature he was. What did it get him? He was sentenced to an eternity frying in the Lake of Fire. Is that really what YOU want? So far, Mr. Robertson has yet to defame anyone. But let's look at his final thought. He states, "We never, ever judge someone on who's going to heaven, hell. That's the Almighty's job. We just love 'em, give 'em the good news about Jesus—whether they're homosexuals, drunks, terrorists. We let God sort 'em out later, you see what I'm saying?" Gee. He said he doesn't judge whether someone is going to heaven or hell. That's God's job, and indeed it is. Mr. Robertson lives by the creed of loving people and telling them the gospel of Jesus Christ—that He came and took the death penalty we as sinners deserve. He rose again the third day to secure eternal life for us, and returned to the Father. Wow. How offensive THAT message is! A heavenly 'get-out-of-jail-free' card. Fact is, nothing in Mr. Robertson's words could possibly, not even in the most infinitesimal way, be considered defamatory or malicious. BUT, in the spirit of fair play, how about we look at what GLAAD said about Mr. Robertson, shall we? Oh my. Oh, this is embarrassing. Not good. Looks like it's GLAAD who is doing the malicious defaming. And with all the practice they've had over the years, they are DARN good at it! Check it out: They state Mr. Robertson and his family only "claim to be Christian." Are they really in a position to judge the Robertson family's hearts? Are they experts on what a 'Christian' is supposed to be like? They accuse him of speaking "lies about an entire community." I'll be danged if I can isolate any untruth in Robertson's statements! They maintain he "clearly knows nothing about gay people or the majority of Louisianans and Americans, who support legal recognition for loving and committed gay and lesbian couples." Well, that's a rather difficult statement to prove. What precisely about sodomites does he not know? Is he supposedly unfamiliar with the overwhelming opposition the majority of Americans have against changing the legal definition of 'marriage'; one that's existed since time began? Seems to me that GLAAD are the ones who know nothing about Louisianans and Americans. They accuse Robertson "pushing vile and extreme stereotypes." And what, pray tell, 'vile' and 'extreme stereotype' would that be? If I remember correctly, he talked about all kinds of behavior: adultery, slandering, swindling, idolatry, homosexuality, drunkenness, prostitution… Face it. NOTHING in his statements could possibly be considered vile or extreme. GLAAD just doesn't want anyone to remind the general public about what used to be considered good, old-fashioned morality. They don't want to be told what GOD considers to be "abominable" behavior, so they stamp their feet in mock rage and demand A&E executives take action against Robertson. The gay community can malign, smear, mock, slander, libel, harass, persecute, ostracize and spit on Christians with impunity, but let a Christian remind gays what the Word of God says about their BEHAVIOR, and they lose all sense of reason, space and time. Christians don't condemn homosexuals. We simply tell what the Judge of all mankind thinks about that behavior. Unfortunately, it's customary to shoot the messenger. We don't walk around cramming our theology down your gullets; if you don't want to know what we think, don't ask! And that is exactly what GQ Magazine did. They asked Phil Robertson for his opinion, and you don't like what he said. Well, boo-the-heck-hoo! If you want to continue in your sin, knock yourselves out! But you need to understand that Christians actually care for you enough to warn you of the eventual consequences of your choices and actions. Would you rather we not tell you to get off the tracks when a train is coming? Would you actually like us to stand there and watch as you're obliterated? Because, quite frankly, we're sick and tired of you projecting your hatred of God and His precepts, onto us! WE DIDN'T MAKE THE RULES! Got it? The magnum opus of hypocrisy is that progressives scream themselves hoarse demanding tolerance from others, when that is the LAST thing they're willing to grant. Phil Robertson is guaranteed by the Bill of Rights, that he can freely express his opinion. I know this administration is salivating over the thought that eradicating that freedom is almost within reach, but for now, it still exists. I suggest GLAAD deal with it. As for A&E putting Mr. Robertson on permanent hiatus from Duck Dynasty? Go ahead. Cut off your nose to spite your namby-pamby, politically correct face. Just remember: Robertson is fabulously wealthy—he doesn't need you. YOU need him! Heute Morgen ist ein Team aus 6 Brüdern zu einer gemeinsamen Syrien Mission aufgebrochen. Unter ihnen sind Team Mitglieder von Afrikabrunnen und Helfen in Not. Beide organisieren diese Mission zusammen weil sie von so enormer Wichtigkeit ist. Es geht darum Notfall Pakete an die Bedürftigsten Syrier zu verteilen. Bis tief in den Süden von Syrien. Es geht um eine der größten Lieferungen und zugleich um eine der gefährlichsten Missionen überhaupt. Die Auslieferung erfolgt im tiefsten Kampfgebiet Syriens eben dort wo die größte Not ist. Vielleicht ist das auch der Grund warum man uns die Reise erschweren will. Direkt am Flughafen hat man uns raus gezogen. "Routine Kontrolle". Seit Stunden werden wir festgehalten. Angeblich wegen Verdacht auf Geldwäsche und Finanzierung von Terrorismus. Flug haben wir verpasst. Und paar Strafen sind auch wohl fällig. Die Kuffar hoffen wohl das wir jetzt nach Hause fahren. Wir werden versuchen einen anderen Flieger zu bekommen. Aber 2 Tage vor Haramnachten kosten die ein Vermögen. Daher gibt es 2 Möglichkeiten: 1. Rückzug (Keine Option!) 2. Angriff! Lasst uns alle zusammen schmeissen und die Mission erfolgreich machen. Die Jungs zahlen alle ihre Tickets selber. Wer Fulltime als Helfer arbeitet steht Alhamdulillah eigentlich immer mittellos dar. Dieser Prof. Dr. Izzet ist meiner persönlichen Meinung nach ein Möchtegern intelligent klingender Sufi-Philosoph, der den Islam am liebsten mit den Ritualen und Festen der Christen schmücken möchte. ABER der Islam ist für alle Nationen. Wenn die Türken, das sage ich als Türke, nicht ihre Reihen dieses Nationalismus und dem Christentum immer ähnlicher werdenden Gedanken, z.B. übertriebene Ehrung der Gesandten und Gelehrten, reinigen, wird Allah ihnen das Wertvollste was sie haben, den Islam, wegnehmen und es einer anderen Nation geben. Was für ein großer Verlust wäre das für die Ewigkeit. Was wir brauchen ist Taqwa, Ihsan und Tawaqul und keine am Fundament abweichenden Religionsdogmen. It is such a great way to prepare for the birth of our Savior by giving to others joyfully. Jesus focused on the poor and we are following that in our own way. What is so great about this is that we are giving to strangers. We won't be there to see them open their gifts and we won't get credit for it and we won't be thanked by them and yet there is such an outpouring of generosity and joy in the effort on our end. I think this is exactly what Jesus would want to see, the opening up of our hearts to doing something He did all during His life.
